- Present a unique concept or viewpoint on a topic in which you have passion.
- Thoughtfully consider your audience when thinking of a topic: literary magazine editors, Central Magnet students, teachers, etc.
- Be creative with sentence structure.
- Do not exhaust the topic at hand.
- Develop a tone and mood that supports what you are saying throughout the piece.
- Most importantly, have fun writing this piece! Invest yourself in your piece, and express yourself through it!
